I don't think it is written by a Chinese.
1) I think majority of the chinese in Malaysia cannot understand all the Malay vocabulary on that article.
2) We rarely have Ng as a middle name. Ng is a family name. Thus, we have Dr Ng. Not Dr Ng Seng. If full name is Ng Seng Keat. He might call Dr Seng Keat. Not Dr Ng Seng. He totally not understand the family name and last name system of chinese. Even some have one name like in China. They should not have full stop(dot) after Ng at the bottom of the articles be Dr Ng Seng. Not Dr Ng. Seng. (Abdullah b. Yusoff?! )
3) Why chinese employed Indonesian as their maid and as restaurant worker. Because they able to do their job. Some advertisement mentioned that a candidate need to know mandarin because it is dealing with Taiwan supplier or China supplier. Or maybe the boss is uneducated unable to communicate with other language or their customer is uneducated. What is the employment rate of Malay. Who cares? Why we need to deprived their employment opportunity. The writer do not understand the Chinese thinking. Chinese is the biggest opposition of repatriation of foreign worker like Indonesian. Actually chinese do not care what is the employment rate of Malay. Nor they care the employment rate of Chinese.What they want is : salary is low and able to reduce their burden. Thus, the writer is not chinese as he do not understand the thinking of Chinese.
4) Chinese also hurt by inflation. Chinese also upset government unable to control the price. He is wrong that Mandarin orange is cheap. He must never buy Mandarin orange before. Even a person never buy mandarain orange before but read chinese newspaper know that mandarin orange is increasing yearly. Thus, he (writer)is not a chinese.
5) Chinese contractor also never employed chinese as contruction worker but Indonesion. Because the salary is much lower. The chinese construction worker get unemployed! who care? Can unemployed chinese construction worker complaint to the government? Do you think government able to solve their problem even they write 100 article like that. No, they have to help themselve. They work in Singapore, Taiwan, Japan as contruction worker or factory worker(illegally), some work in restaurant in Australia, US, UK ,Netherland German and French illegally!!!
6) Does he know that local government chief or chairman of Georgetown is hold by a Malay if not mistaken. Chinese in local government....parking attendant only. Why Penang Chief Minister is speechless when AP Land Chairman accused Penang state government inefficiency. Does he has something he unable to say?
7) I don't think any chinese aware we have a second in command in UDA nor it benefit from UDA. Majority of chinese know UDA is a "Tun Daim school of business management " where it's graduates included Renong's Halim Saad, MAS's Tanjuddin Ramli, Samsuddin Abu Hassan.
The person (writer) likely is insider of UDA
8) A chinese doctor is unlikely to write something like this. Majority of Chinese doctor joint Barisan Nasional. A chinese lawyer is more likely to write something like this, as majority of opposition leader is lawyer. Thus, he do not understand how Chinese professional think. He is not chinese.
9) Does chinese afraid of Malay become Accountant. No, a chinese Accountant is more difficult to compete. Chinese do not opposed government give more license to bumiputra. Just hope that they have equal opportunity to compete. Like government can give more banking license to bumiputra. Give more bus operator license to bumiputra. But government choose to eliminate Hock Hua Bank, Ban Hin Lee bank, Pacific Bank. Take over bus operator Park May, but unable to make profit even after numerous price increase (Price increase is cause by bumiputra controlled company, partly if not fully). Government even take over bumiputra's Mini bus license and give to one person, Late Yahya Ahmand.Take over bumiputra teksi license and give to a few company. Chinese opposed this type of take over but do not opposed granting more license to bumiputra. Chinese trader afraid of Multinational like Tesco provided 24 hour service. They do not opposed more bumiputra trader to compete with them (Like Mydin). Again, the writer do not understand how Chinese think. He is not a Chinese.
Update: 10) Mereka takut kalau Pak Lah naik, dia akan pindah Pusat kerajaan Pulau Pinang dari Komtar ke Kepala batas, kerana orang Melayu banyak disana, Chinese shoould write : Kami takut kalau Pak Lah naik, dia akan pindah Pusat kerajaan Pulau Pinang dari Komtar ke Kepala batas, kerana orang Melayu banyak di sana?
11) The writer stated that chinese should cause disrespect between Malay and their Sultan. In fact, before the constitutional crisis when Sultan have more power, Chinese able to get more license, timber conssession, mining land from Sultan. However, after the constitutional crisis. Chinese have difficulties getting this license. Some license have been revoke as describe (9) above.
12) Someone in the Prime Minister Department might involve in such article as they never been deleted for so long. I think Pak Lah have some opposition of its policies in his own department.
13) He do not understand how difficult to "Bersatu" Chinese. Chinese comprises cantonese, Hokkien, Hakka etc. Chinese divided in MCA, Gerakan, DAP, Keadilan and some East Malaysia party. In religion, chinese has Christian, buddist, Islam.In Education, we have chinese educated who study confusion and those study Sekolah Kebangasaan, who do not know mandarin and confusion culture. As stated (5) above, Chinese contractor also do not employed chinese contruction worker. Chinese is not "Bersatu". Chinese "Bersatu" with money. Every chinese know that but not Dr. Ng. Seng? He is not chinese

If really translation. How to translate hisname into Dr Ng? There is three possibility to translate as NG. Two is Wong. He suppose to translate as Dr Wong Seng unless he know Hokkien and other dialet.
Another translation is Goh or Dr Goh Seng in dialet. In Mandarin, Dr Ng Seng which translate correctly.
However, what is Ng Seng mean in Mandarin? Ng Seng mean "Not successful" or "Not accomplish" Any chinese parent want to give their children such name?

Once I read that, I took my time searching for Dr Ng Seng in the internet and I was dissapointed. I asked my friend in London, if he by any chance possess the original article in an unmentioned magazine.. I did all that because I have the same doubt, as you did even Im a Malay.. So I didnt forward the email.

People misused internet to spread racists remark and create race dishormony. However, internet and other tool able to make clarification as well.
I feel there is racists and liberal people in all races. However, racists people used to influence those liberal rather than the other way round.
It really take a great effort to create mutual understanding between two race.
Hopefully, "Dr Unsuccessful" would fail in his all attempt.
Its good to get explanations like these. I received the article under discussion through an open forum comprised of Malay professonals. That email is being circulated all over the Malay community.
As a malay, and brought up most of my life in Malaysia...I admit I do have certain suspicion of a Malaysian Chinese & Indian agenda. A lot of it is owing to personal experiences, political propaganda and yes, also ignorance. There are pros and cons of Inter-racial open discussion. However, during times like these, I think the pros outweigh the cons.
Majority of malays (including non-partisan ones i.e. neither UMNO or PAS)are a bit fed-up with the current government and the way things are developing. This is because we feel that a lot of Malay/Muslim interests have not been well protected. All this is seen as being engineered by a few aristocratic Malays (that collaborate with Chinese and Indian preassure groups) that try to gain wealth and power at the expense of the general Malays.
Malays as a race mainly fear:
1. Losing their heritage to land i.e. being 2nd class in their own country of originality;
2. Losing dignity & identity of their religion -Islam.
Among the top ranking suspicions of Malays are:
1. The Chinese (& also Indians now) are gaining more and more land and Malay ownership is eroding speedily including Malay reserve land (thru clever manouvering);
2. Malays especially our youth are being driven to apostacy by Christian & Hindu missionary movements;
3. The Malaysian Chinese and Indians are not loyal to Malaysia. If this country is invaded, then they will just pack up their bags and leave the country. For as long as there is peace, then they will do whatever it takes to gain all the wealth in this country;
4. Certain Chinese factions especially in business try to insult Malays & Islam by corrupting the food supply with Haram (non-halal) items and processes;
5. Chinese businessmen will do whatever it takes to sabotaj malay businesses including small businesses.
I wonder sometimes does racial tolerance really exist? The way things are going, it is really like a silent time-bomb just waiting to explode any minute.

Believe me, for my knowledge, there is no Malaysian Chinese & Indian agenda, at least no Malaysian Chinese Agenda.
Chinese just want to live peacefully in Malaysia and have a chance to earn a living and a chance to get their own education but this has been deny via quota system. That is the worry of non-Malay.
1) Actually in the eye of middle class chinese. Chinese was deny the ownership of land via Felda project.A lot of poor chinese's farmer has been work hard for many generation on a farm land but unable to get or buy the land they has been work for generation. there are fear to do long term investment planning as they fear the land will be taken back by the government after heavy investment.I feel poor indian should give a chance to participate in Felda project to reduce poverty and crime. in our country.
2 I don't understand why there is a perception that there is a Christian & Hindu missionary movements. I am not aware of it. May be it is political propoganda to create such misconception. If there is any, I don't think Malays was in the losing end as Malays was well protected by the government. I feel Hindu was in the losing end as a lot of temple has been destroy by the government. Of course, like Islam, every religion was try to spread their believe but nobody claim it is Islam missionary movements.
3. History show that Chinese and Indian fight for Malaysia when the country invaded by Japan during 1940-1945. But was label as Communist by the Information Minister when we try to set up a memoir. It is those who claim would fight for the country that work with and cooperate with Japanese, the invador.
4.Unethical business should not be label as target the Malays and Islam as all people including non Malays and non Muslim are suffer by their act. Pulic also suffer from food that do not follow proper health procedure. We should combat unethical business practise but we should not be racist by labeling such act are done by certain race only and only certain race are suffer.Similarly, action against corruption also should not be view as targeting Malay only. We should not racist on this. Action should not be view as target certain race but against certain act like corruption or unethical practise.
5. Chinese small and mediuum business also sabotaj by big chinese business. From communist point of view. This is the battle between the rich and the poor. From capitalist point of view. This is the fact of life. Those who win the competition gain the capital. Again, we should not see this from racist point of view.Chinese's small and medium business also unable to compete with Tesco,which is control by bumiputra.Middle class and poor chinese also learn how to survive on capitalise competition rather than racist on business competition.
I feel political propoganda has promote viewing every thing from racist point of view rather than battle between poor and the rich, against unethical business practise and against corruption.
Why Malay fear of losing their dignity and identity of Islam when Hindu temple has been tear down but Mosque and Surau has been building on every new housing Estate. No body ask them to dress like non-muslim but the non-muslim was ask to dress like muslim in Univercity, parliament etc? All this are political propoganda. Winner are the one in fear but loser....how should we feel?
One thing, we should not view everything on racist point of view when the issue is business ethic, battle between the rich and the poor and corruption. A more rational view point should be promoted rather than racist view point promoted by politician.
